Brand identity for Oohlala - Online Travel Agency

Meet Oohlala - an exciting new travel agency based in Vietnam, whose motto is "Experience the freedom of travel". With a mission to provide boundless joy and liberation to all travelers, Oohlala ensures that every trip to a new destination is an unforgettable experience. When designing their logo, the brief was clear - it had to be fun, joyful, and bursting with bright colors that captured the essence of the brand. The end result is a dynamic and playful logo that perfectly embodies the core values of Oohlala.

The Idea

Inspiration struck when I realized that the exclamation "Oohlala!" is often used to express surprise. With this in mind, I decided to incorporate an exclamation mark into the logo design for maximum impact. The end result is a logo that captures the essence of the brand and is sure to surprise and delight all who see it.

Solution

To improve the logo design, I noticed that the heavy appearance was due to the boldness of the letters. To address this issue, I made the letters thinner, resulting in a lighter overall look and feel. Additionally, I incorporated more details into the letter A, with the aim of visualizing the navigation symbol. The end result is a refined logo that not only looks great but also effectively represents the brand.

Incorporating logo into elements

Using the shapes derived from the exclamation mark in the logo design, I created a series of travel-related symbols that align with the company's field of expertise. These symbols were then incorporated into various design elements to further reinforce the brand's identity. The result is a cohesive visual language that effectively communicates the brand's mission and values, while also creating a memorable and visually striking aesthetic. Whether on business cards, brochures, or website banners, these travel-related symbols serve as eye-catching decorations that tie everything together and create a consistent brand experience for customers.
